To reduce the premium outlay, you can effect this policy on first loss basis whereby the maximum exposure at any time will be the basis of premium assessment. That is, you will decide on what is likely to be the maximum loss you can suffer in any one – theft incident. Cover can be extended to protect the property of your guest subject to policy limits. COMPUTER AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT (ALL RISKS INSURANCE) This policy, which is all risk in nature, is essentially designed to protect you against all risks of unforeseen loss or damage to your electronic equipment. Losses due to the following causes are covered by the policy Fire, lightning, explosion, and smoke damage Burglary damage done to the equipment as a result of an attempted burglary. Short circuiting Faulty operation and lack of Skill Riot, Strike and Civil Commotion. The insurance will operate when the insured computers and electronic equipment are either at work or at rest being overhauled or cleaned, or being shifted within your premises. One of the highlights of this cover is the indemnity granted loss of or damage to data in external storage facilities such as diskettes and tapes. The insurance is against both the value of data and the costs of reprocessing lost information in them. Back to Top....... GOODS IN TRANSIT This policy covers the risk or damage inherent in the movement of your good while loading from the point of departure until delivery at destination. The cover granted is practically ‘all risk' including fire, lighting, burglary and other insured perils but excluding loss or damage arising out of perils specifically excluded by the policy such as disappearance.However, some of these can be added to the policy at extra cost. STAFF GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE This policy is essentially designed to provide benefits to employees in the event of sustaining injuries, which may result to permanent disability or death. This cover operates on a 24 – hour basis irrespective of whether or not the injury occurred while at work. The injury or death must however result from an accident and not from natural causes. Benefits, usually in multiple of annual salaries are paid in the event of death or permanent disability. The policy will also pay a weekly benefit, up to 104 weeks, in the event of any employee being temporarily disabled. The amount of benefit here does not exceed the employees' actual weekly earnings. Furthermore, medical expenses incurred on any employee as a result of an accident are also reimbursed by the policy up to an agreed limit stated in the policy. Back to Top....... INSURANCE BONDS/ GUARANTEE Insurance bond is a form of guarantee arranged by us to any of our accredited and highly recommended contractors to their principals.
